 As a proud sponsor of the Reel Paddling Film Fesival, YAKIMA recognizes the significance of audience participation and has created the YAKIMA People’s Choice Award.
Following 10 months of touring more than 34 films to 30,000 outdoor enthusiasts in 100 cities, the YAKIMA People’s Choice Award will be presented to the highest rated film as voted by the RPFF World Tour audience. The winning director of this prestigious award will receive $500.
Audiences will have the chance to rank all eligible films after each screening. Ballots can be found in the RPFF evening programs. Completed ballots will be deposited in the box provided to all World Tour hosts or entered online by scanning the QR code with a smartphone.
The YAKIMA People’s Choice Award winner will be announced and screened at the 2012 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, Utah.
